I was on pins and needles waiting for the sequel. In some ways, it was better than the first novel, but in others (Chase/Hart moments) it was sadly lacking. Hart was funny as usual, but the fresh humor of Halliday's teens in the first novel felt stale to me in this one. I still love SMother, and the duo of Hart and Sam continually crack me up, but I was looking for some upward movement between Chase and Hart, not lateral, possibly even backwards.
In-depth to come.
